Acrylic face mounting is a process that involves applying an optically clear adhesive to the face of the print then adhering the print to acrylic, otherwise known as plexiglass.  Once the print is adhered to the acrylic, a backing material like dibond (best and what we use) or sintra is adhered to the back of the print to protect the print and provide rigidity to the art.  The backer also provides the surface to adhere the hanging and floating hardware which provides that modern, floating off the wall look.

If you’re a professional photographer or artist, this is an excellent choice for differentiating yourself from the pack.  Acrylic face mounting gives prints a very modern and vibrant look which is great for the home or showing your work in a gallery.

Here you can see a video we did a few years back showing the entire process (a  few minor changes have been made since) and no, we never put our logo on your prints.  This was just a promo piece we did!

If you’re interested in our acrylic face mounted prints we have many options and customizations available to you with varying thicknesses of acrylic (1/8″, 1/4″ and 1/2″) as well as 1″ acrylic photo blocks which make for a stunning standup display.
