How We Hand-Craft Your Acrylic Fine Art Print

Your photo is printed on high-grade photo paper (gloss or metallic), then face mounted to the acrylic glass so you're looking through the acrylic at your print.

Acrylic is unique in that light refracts within the acrylic (instead of passing through as it does with glass) resulting in an almost backlit appearance with the right lighting.

Your print is backed with dibond, providing protection and rigidity. We finish it off with hanging/floating hardware for that floating off the wall look.

Your Gallery-Grade Acrylic Print Configuration Options

Acrylic Type, Size, & Thickness: Standard, TruLife, & Anti-Glare Acrylic

Standard Acrylic Print: Our standard gallery-grade acrylic print and, as with all of our acrylics, this offers clear cast and is of the highest quality for face mounting. Available in 1/8" thickness (up to 96x48) 1/4" thickness (up to 60x40)" and 1/2" thickness up to 40x30". Custom sizing available.

TruLife Acrylic Print: Most popular with professional photographers and artists selling their artwork. TruLife offers glare reduction, scratch resistance, anti-static properties, and better UV protection (99% vs. 75%). Available in 1/8" thickness up to 96x48" in size.

Anti-Glare Acrylic Print: Our anti-glare acrylic offers minimal degradation in vibrancy, and is available in 1/8" thickness up to 96x48" in size.

Acrylic Edges: Standard or Diamond Polished

Standard Edge: This option is included in the base price of our acrylic face mount product and provides a nice finished edge. However, it is more opaque than the polished edge upgrade. Recommended with 1/8" acrylic prints.

Diamond Polished Edge: Upgrade to a beautiful diamond polished edge that's completely smooth and transparent. This becomes more important with thicker acrylic and is highly recommended with 1/4" and 1/2". Diamond polishing is available from 7x7" up to 45x45".

Acrylic Paper Options: Glossy or Metallic

Glossy Paper (included in price): We offer high-quality Epson Premium Gloss paper by default, included in the base price of all products. This paper offers the highest gloss level of any Epson resin coated photographic paper producing vivid life-like images that rival those of traditional silver halide prints, the ultra glossy finish, coupled with a 10 mil thickness and extremely wide color gamut.

Metallic Paper: Upgrade to Lexjet Sunset Metallic paper, the best pigment inkjet metallic paper available. Recommended for bold and vibrant photos to offer more depth and pop — especially abstract and landscape photos with rich color, including black and whites.

Note: We are often asked to provide an image showing the difference between the two, but it's impossible to capture on a camera. If you're uncertain, contact us for a consultation and/or consider ordering a couple small paper proofs to see the difference.

Acrylic Hanging & Float Frame Options

Hanging: Choose no hanging hardware or an aluminum subframe with French cleat on any thickness. 1/8" acrylic can also hang on an aluminum subframe with wire, up to 48x36".

Float Frame Option: A handcrafted wood frame with a deliberate shadow gap around the print, so nothing overlaps the edge of your art. Available in black or white, and arrives ready to hang. Only available for 1/8" thick acrylic prints, up to 60x40", hung with a French cleat or a wire (up to 30x40").

Production & Shipping for Your Acrylic Fine Art Prints

Shipping Information

Shipping rates will be determined by the final size and weight of the package. We charge FedEx/UPS live rates. The following types of orders may require freight shipping or additional fees:

Products over 40" long that are shipped flat, such as MetalPrints and Acrylic Prints.
Custom Sizes that require special handling.
Large quantities that require bulky packaging.

We will provide quotes for these orders. Please email us at support@bumblejax.com for a freight quote. Please allow additional time for the quote and estimated freight delivery times.

Expedited shipping is not available for prints over 56x36" or 38x38" (square), which include Metal Prints, Wrapped Canvas Prints, Float Framed Prints, and Acrylic Prints. All shipments under these sizes can ship ground, 2-day or 3-day.

Important Production Information

Most orders ship out in 7-10 business days. Larger orders may need additional time. Rush Orders are available. A 2-day rush charge is 50% of the print cost and a 3-day rush is 25% of the print price.

How large can you produce an acrylic print?

Does the acrylic pricing include everything like mounting and hardware?

Yes, you choose a hanging option that works best for you when placing an order.

Does my acrylic print come ready to hang?

Yes. You can choose an aluminum subframe with French cleat on any thickness, and on 1/8" acrylic an aluminum subframe with wire (up to 48x36") or a float frame (up to 60x40"). You can also order it with no hanging hardware.

How long will it take to receive my acrylic prints after I place my order?

Standard Production: For stocked sizes that can be ordered online, it typically takes 7-10 business days, extending to 10-15 days for large quantities or custom sizes.

Rush Production: Rush production is available for smaller quantities and sizes. A 2-day rush charge is 50% of the order total. A 3-day rush is 25% of the order total. Need an extreme rush to get your order out in 24 hours? Please ask, and we'll see what we can do. A 24-hour turnaround will be 100% of the order total.

Standard Shipping: Standard ground shipping is 1-5 business days depending on where you're located from our facility in Seattle, WA. Example: Orders going to WA, OR and ID can be as quick as one business day, while orders going to the East Coast may take up to 5 business days.

Rush Shipping: We offer expedited shipping options. For online orders, you have the choice of 3 day, 2 day, and standard overnight shipping.
