How We Hand-Craft Your Acrylic Fine Art Print
Your photo is printed on high-grade photo paper (gloss or metallic), then face mounted to the acrylic glass so you're looking through the acrylic at your print.
Acrylic is unique in that light refracts within the acrylic (instead of passing through as it does with glass) resulting in an almost backlit appearance with the right lighting.
Your print is backed with dibond, providing protection and rigidity. We finish it off with hanging/floating hardware for that floating off the wall look.
Your Gallery-Grade Acrylic Print Configuration Options
Standard Acrylic Print: Our standard gallery-grade acrylic print and, as with all of our acrylics, this offers clear cast and is of the highest quality for face mounting. Available in 1/8" and 1/4" thickness up to 96x48" in size, and 1/2" thickness up to 40x30". Custom sizing available.
TruLife Acrylic Print: Most popular with professional photographers and artists selling their artwork. TruLife offers glare reduction, scratch resistance, anti-static properties, and better UV protection (99% vs. 75%). Available in 1/8" thickness up to 96x48" in size.
Anti-Glare Acrylic Print: Our anti-glare acrylic offers minimal degradation in vibrancy, and is available in 1/8" thickness up to 96x48" in size.
Pro Tip: Generally, the thicker you go, the more vibrancy and depth you'll achieve. Selling your artwork? We recommend upgrading to TruLife acrylic at 1/8" thickness!
Routed/Sanded Edge: This option is included in the base price of our acrylic face mount product and provides a nice finished edge. However, it is more opaque than the polished edge upgrade. Recommended with 1/8" acrylic prints.
Diamond Polished Edge: Upgrade to a beautiful diamond polished edge that's completely smooth and transparent. This becomes more important with thicker acrylic — it is required with the 1/2" acrylic option, and highly recommended with 1/4".
Glossy Paper (included in price): We offer high-quality Epson Premium Gloss paper by default, included in the base price of all products. This paper offers the highest gloss level of any Epson resin coated photographic paper producing vivid life-like images that rival those of traditional silver halide prints, the ultra glossy finish, coupled with a 10 mil thickness and extremely wide color gamut.
Metallic Paper: Upgrade to Lexjet Sunset Metallic paper, the best pigment inkjet metallic paper available. Recommended for bold and vibrant photos to offer more depth and pop — especially abstract and landscape photos with rich color, including black and whites.
Note: We are often asked to provide an image showing the difference between the two, but it's impossible to capture on a camera. If you're uncertain, contact us for a consultation and/or consider ordering a couple small paper proofs to see the difference.
Wood/Wire Option (Most Popular): Kiln dried doug fir wood floats your art 3/4" from the wall and included hanging wire and drywall hook allow for a quick one-minute install no tools required.
Aluminum/Cleat Option: While the floating/hanging mechanism won't be seen once the art is on the wall, some like the more elegant look of the aluminum subframe.

The standard ground shipping price is 12% of the product price for art 40x30" and below and is fully insured by Bumblejax. Minimum shipping charge is $15.00.
You'll see a ground shipping estimated time map at checkout.
- West Coast shipments are typically 1-3 business days, Midwest 3-4 days and East Coast 4-5 days.
- Expedited shipping is available for 3 day, 2 day and overnight.
- Shipping to AK, HI or Canada is 30% of product price + $10 for products 40x30" and below.
- Shipping anywhere else in the world is generally 35-50% of product price.
Please note that prints over 40" also require a custom wooden box to ensure safe shipping to reduce the likelihood of shipping damage.
